QR Generator FAQ | QR Studio
FAQ

Questions that come up before teams publish QR codes.

These answers focus on practical implementation rather than hype.

Are QR codes free to create here?

Yes. This version is frontend-first and free-friendly. You can create, customize, save locally, and export QR codes without signing in.

Do QR codes expire?

Static QR codes do not expire on their own. If the destination link or destination service changes, the QR may stop being useful, but the code itself remains valid.

Can I add a logo?

Yes. You can upload a center logo, and the studio warns when the logo size becomes large enough to risk scanability.

What size should a QR code be for print?

That depends on viewing distance and content density, but in general you should avoid tiny codes and preserve a quiet zone around the design.

Why is my QR not scanning?

Low contrast, oversized logos, missing margins, or overly dense content are the most common reasons. The preview panel flags these issues before export.

Can I save my work without an account?

Yes. Saved projects are stored locally in your browser using IndexedDB and localStorage.

Can I create Wi-Fi QR codes?

Yes. The Wi-Fi form supports SSID, password, encryption type, and hidden network toggles.

Can I make a UPI payment QR code?

Yes. Use the UPI form to set the payee name, UPI ID, optional fixed amount, and transaction note.

Do you support business card QR codes?

Yes. Use the vCard generator for save-to-contact QR codes or a file/URL QR for portfolio and resume handoffs.

Can I export SVG files?

Yes. Exports include PNG, SVG, and PDF, along with high-resolution options for print use.

Can I print multiple QR codes on one sheet?

Yes. The print tools include single, A4 grid, sticker sheet, business-card, shop-stand, and table-card layouts.

Is there a bulk QR generator?

Yes. You can upload CSV data, map fields to a QR type, validate rows, and export the results as a ZIP or print sheet.

Does the app work on mobile?

Yes. The interface is responsive and the core studio remains usable on phones for quick edits, previews, saves, and exports.

Will this support dynamic QR analytics later?

The current version creates static QR codes, but the project structure is intentionally designed to expand into a dynamic analytics SaaS later.

Can I use the app without sending my data to a server?

Yes. In this version, generation and project saving happen locally in the browser.
